Fred is a versitile teacher specialising in Whole Class percussion, small class teaching and coaching for youth orchestras.

Fred currently teaches Wider Oportunities Percussion for Tower Hamlets Arts and Music Service. For THAMES, he teaches whole class glockenspiel and African Drumming.

Southwark Youth Orchestra has brought Fred in on numerous occasions to coach their percussion and keyboard sections. He also does a percussion workshop with the entire youth orchestra, which they showcase in their termly concerts.

Fred used to teach drum kit at the Blackheath Conservatoire, where he taught grades to adults and children. Fred has a 100% pass mark for students taking grade exams.
